NEWS FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (ECDA)
ECDA is pleased to present its inaugural Early Childhood Conference 2013 “Coming Together: Excellence & Partnerships in Early Childhood Development”. This 2-day event will be held on 20 and 21 November 2013, at the Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Come join us as we bring together 2000 early childhood personnel in this professional learning opportunity and as we aim to:
Discover educational resources and interesting activities that you can bring back to your classrooms through Learning Journeys to various agencies such as the Singapore Repertory Theatre and S.E.A Aquarium on 19 Nov 2013;
Gain insights from our 2 International Keynote Speakers, Dr Margaret Carr (University of Waikato) and Dr John Bennett (Visiting Fellow at the Thomas Coram Research Unit, Institute of Education, University of London) as they discuss what constitutes excellence in early childhood programmes and the merits of investing in partnerships in the interest of children and their families
Expand understanding and hone skills in child development, curriculum & pedagogy, professional & leadership development from an impressive line-up of 72 concurrent workshops;
Celebrate and recognise the contributions of Outstanding Early Childhood Teachers, Educarers, Leaders and Centres for their Innovative Practices and Teaching and Learning Resources at the ECDA Awards Ceremony; and
Explore and enjoy the 50 Exhibition Booths and Fringe Activities that will feature the ECDA Award Winners, government and community partners, and products and services from various vendors!
